Mays meeting will be held on Thursday May 15th at Hauberg Civic Center at 6pm. We will be having a silent auction in the basement followed a short meeting regarding how our Spring Show went, what is in the works for the Summer months, and the Fall Show.

To the Black Hawk Gem & Mineral Club Website!
What is The Black Hawk Gem & Mineral Club? Located in Rock Island Illinois, part of the Quad-Cities of Iowa and Illinois. We are a non-profit organization actively promoting interest in collecting. studying and working with gems, minerals and fossils. Organized in 1955, the Black Hawk Club joined the Midwest Federation of Mineralogial & Geological Societies in 1959. It is also a member of the American Federation of Mineralogical Societies.
A newsletter will be coming out this month however there was concern that it would not be quickly enough for this meeting. We are planning Picnics and Field trips for the Summer months so you will be getting mailings as those come up. Hope to see you at the meeting.
